Rocamar Engineering provided full Engineering services with multifaceted Engineering and design to include the mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, refrigeration systems, air conditioning system, humidity control system, ventilation system and lighting system for the Village of Wellington Village Park Phase III New Gymnasium. The project encompassed 100,000 square feet at a cost of $10 million that entailed the addition to the existing gym, a new facility with a state of the art cooling system.

Additional services include construction administration and value Engineering Services. We have demonstrated our capability for multifaceted engineering. The challenge was to bring the project on time and to the level of energy conservation never achieved in similar facility. Light analysis and light level were part of the study  to bring this facility to a one of kind.

One of the unique systems design in this facility was the ice storage system that permitted to make ice during the low demand hours of the electrical company and discharge the ice during the high electrical tariff. We achieved a tremendous saving to the owner by using this type of system. Additionally we use energy wheel for the fresh air requirements and control via CO2 controller.
