With decades of combined experience, our team specializes in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEP/FP) design, as well as Energy Management and Inspection & Testing services. OUR FOUNDER
Bernardo Cardenal
Bernardo Cardenal is a University of Texas graduate with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Mr Cardenal also attended Tulane University, New Orleans, for additional Mechanical Engineering course load work.
He is Registered as a Professional Engineer in the States of Florida and Louisiana. He holds memberships in the following organisations: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers, the National Fire Protection Association, the Association of Energy Engineers, and the Association of Plumbing Engineers.
He is also a Board Member of ASHRAE, serving as “President Elect” from 1989 to 1999 and as the “Chairman” of ASHRAE Standard Accreditation Activities Committee from 1998 to 2001. Bernardo has also attended many short courses from ASHRAE in different parts of the country, staying active and involved in the Engineering community.
He has been serving in an engineering capacity for over 35 years.
The Rocamar company itself has been serving all of South Florida for over 35 years, attracting such clients as: City of Palm Beach County, City of Miami, Citrix Systems /Florida, FP&L Co., University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida, Miami International Airport, Thermal Dynamics, Inc. and Wendy’s Restaurants, just to name a few.
Mr Cardenal has also functioned in various capacities, gaining experience from work as a Special System Designer in Drilco-Houston, Texas, Assistant Vice President at Rumold Inc.-New Orleans and Senior Project Manager at Sam L. Hamilton, Inc., Miami, Florida.
